Assessments

Assessments

All Nampa School District CTE students  will be required to participate in a number of assessments associated with their occupational pathway.   Like in all other coursework, CTE students will experience Formative and Summative type assessments in each of their CTE classes along with an End of Course assessment that will challenge their content knowledge and performance skills at the completion of each class.

CTE Students will also be assessed during the final year of their chosen pathway or program.  These assessments will test the students' overall capability in the career area they have studied and their accumulated career readiness knowledge.  These two assessments take into account the entire 2-4 year program of study and associated activities.

The Technical Skills Assessment and Career Readiness Assessment are exclusive to Career-Technical Education programs and provide the information necessary to ensure the Nampa School District CTE career pathway programs are aligned with current industry standards and are meeting the expectations of our postsecondary partners for possible postsecondary credits.
