The Pre-Engineering Technology Program utilizes thenational curriculum developed by Project Lead the Way (PLTW).  PLTW Engineering is more than just anotherhigh school engineering program.  ThePLTW curriculum ensures students are applying engineering, science, math, andtechnology to solve complex, open-ended problems in a real-world context.

Even students who do not plan to pursue engineering afterhigh school benefit from the transferable skills such as collaboration,communication and critical thinking which are developed in our Pre-Engineeringcoursework.

The Digital Electronics Engineering Pathway provides instruction in the various technology systems and manufacturingprocesses used by industry.  Studentsexperience the problem solving processes used by engineers and technicians byapplying math, science and technology to solving complex problems. The DigitalElectronics Engineering pathway utilizes computer simulation software to designand test digital circuitry prior to the actual construction of circuits anddevices.

In the Aerospace Engineering Pathway, students willexperience hands-on engineering projects developed in conjunction with NASA.Students will learn about aerodynamics, space-life sciences, and systemsengineering, which will include intelligent vehicles similar to the Mars rover,“Spirit” and “Opportunity”.
