Culinary Arts

The Culinary Arts Pathway is aligned and offers postsecondary credits with the College of Southern Idaho’s Culinary Arts Program.  This pathway, based at Skyview High School, offers instruction in food safety, health nutrition, and meal management.  Students will study the composition, structure and properties of foods and prepare for gainful employment or entry into food production at the postsecondary level.  Classroom instruction provides students the opportunity to apply the marketable culinary arts and food service skills, refining techniques and procedures in cooking, baking, menu preparation and food budget.
