Emergency Medical Technician

The Emergency Medical Technical Pathway prepares the student for entry into the field of pre-hospital medical care. Students will become proficient in patient assessment and treatment, in trauma and medical emergencies, bleeding and shock, CPR, splinting, spinal immobilization, airway management and oxygen therapy as well as assistance with medication administration.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in externship opportunities. Students who complete will be eligible to sit for the National Registry Exam
